5. He feels most compelled to write when films touched his heart, spoke to his spirits, stirred his soul and blew his mind.
6. He also feels most compelled to write when filmmakers waste his time, waste people’s money, and waste celluloid. Or tape.
7. He writes to learn.
8. He write to remember.
9. He is not qualified academically to write.
10. He usually processes his thoughts in his drive home, and vomits every mental note onto the screen once he reaches home.
11. He will sacrifice an hour of sleep to write for he believes in the moment.
12. And like in all aspects of life, he believes in the beauty.
